POPULAR NATIVE TREES TEST 'MYRTLE RUST RESISTANT'

In a recent media release Ozbreed has published findings from tests undertaken in association with The University of Sydney to determine the Myrtle Rust resistance of different plant varieties in the Ozbreed range.

Testing was conducted by Dr. Karanjeet Sandhu, a Myrtle Rust Pathologist from the Plant Breeding Institute, Faculty of Agriculture & Environment from The University of Sydney.

Myrtle Rust Result Interpretation (excerpt)

Luscious® Tristaniopsis laurina - Result: No visible sign of infection - Status: Highly Resistant

Sweeper™ Waterhousea floribunda - Result: No visible sign of infection - Status: Highly Resistant

Red Head™ Acmena smithii - Result: No visible sign of infection - Status: Highly Resistant

Sublime™ Acmena smithii - Result: No visible sign of infection - Status: Highly Resistant
